Common questions

Where is my students' data?

On your iPhone and in your personal iCloud, in your private database. Our servers keep no student records. Use Settings, then "Export all my data (CSV)" any time you want a copy.

Why does a draft need the network?

Goal drafts, progress notes, present levels, and talking points are generated by our drafting service. Everything else, including tracking, charts, the meeting report PDF, and CSV export, works offline.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings app, your name, Subscriptions, GoalDraft Pro. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the paid period.

A draft did not arrive

Your baseline and data are still on the device; nothing is lost. Check the connection and tap draft again. If it keeps happening, email us with the approximate time and we will look at the service logs (they contain no student content).

How do I change how a goal collects data?

Open the goal, tap the controls icon in the top corner, and pick the data type: trials, score, count, incidents, timer, latency, intervals, or task steps. Task steps let you list the steps of a chain, one per line.

Can my paraprofessional log data?

Shared caseloads are not in the app yet; it is the top item on our roadmap. Today, a group session (the two-person icon on the caseload) is the fastest way to log many goals at once.
